About me…

Music has always been an important part of my life. Whether it was hearing my Grandma playing the piano, hearing stories about Benjamin Britten or watching my Dad play flute with my great aunt, music was very often present. I started playing piano, clarinet and guitar from a young age, but it took a little longer for the enthusiasm for singing to develop…

From about the age of 7, it was quite clear that music was not my only passion; the other was football. For 12 years I played both locally and regionally, but aged 17 I decided to start taking singing a bit more seriously and by 19, I had swapped muddy slide tackles on a Sunday morning for studying music and performing publicly. Not the most conventional swap, I know…

At 17 I joined the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, where I was a member for 5 years and during that time my passion and enthusiasm for singing continued to grow.

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019 with a 1st Class degree and recently completed a Master of Music with Distinction at the Prins Claus Conservatoire, Netherlands.

Now, I perform both as a soloist and as an ensemble singer in the UK and the Netherlands and appear regularly as a song recitalist, but don’t worry, despite rarely playing nowadays, my love of football still remains!

Alongside my love for performing, I am also fascinated by people, psychology and development, which led me to qualifying as an accredited coach and creating the platform Authentic Artistry in 2022 which supports the development and performance skills of performers.
