As a performer

Connection, communication and authenticity are the qualities drive my love of performance. The pairing of music and text is something that I continually feel inspired by in my music making, a partnership that is so generous in it’s depth.

I am a passionate about the song and oratorio repertoire for that reason, with story telling and musicality at the heart of both disciplines. I was born and raised in England, beginning my professional studies at the University of Leeds, where I received a first class honours degree in Music (BMus). During this time, I studied for one year at ArtEZ Conservatorium in which I started to deepen my awareness artistically and began to see myself more clearly as a performer. This led to moving back to The Netherlands after graduating in 2019 and starting the Master of Music at Prins Claus Conservatory in 2020 with Hanneke de Wit, from whom I continue to receive lessons.

Having lived both in The Netherlands, the UK and speaking nearly fluent Spanish, communication and connection have been at the heart of these experiences.

I perform regularly here both as a soloist, ensemble singer and with my duo partner Jaime Espinosa Pedrosa.
